Find Santa! – 5 December 2015
This is a great activity day at Occombe Farm for all the family to enjoy the real spirit of Xmas, and kids will have a wonderful time searching for Santa Claus. There will be Xmas arts and crafts on sale, carol singing and every child participating in the Find Santa activity will get a special treat. The event involves solving clues along a trail to find Father Christmas in his den.
You must reserve places in advance and whilst entry to the farm is free of charge, the Find Santa activity costs £6.50 per child. To purchase tickets and book your place call 01803 520022 for more information
The event begins at 10 am and continues until 4 pm.
Winter Bird Walk – 6 December 2015
Organised by the Coast and Countryside Trust, the walk begins at 10 am from the car park at Broadsands, ending at 12:30 am. It’s a guided walk supervised by a local birdwatching expert and enthusiast, Mike Langman. Broadsands is a perfect area to find many bird species but you will need to bring your binoculars with you to get the full benefit.
Build a Gingerbread House – 13 December 2015
This is another marvellous event for kids held at Occombe Farm, Paignton. They use a variety of edible decorations in all the colours imaginable to make a gingerbread house in the Occombe Farm Cookery School Workshop. It’s fun to do and will keep the children occupied, know that once finished they can take it back to your self-catering accommodation in Paignton and eat it!
There are two events during the day one commencing at 10:30 am until 1 pm and the other from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
The price for each gingerbread house made is £22.50 and you’ll need to reserve spaces in advance.
