When you have had enough sun or are worn out from other beach activities you can find a shaded area at Royal Terrace Gardens to relax, read a newspaper or just enjoy the view across the sea.
Nature Reserves
Berry Head is a favourite nature reserve in the area with spectacular sea views and a wealth of flora, fauna, birds and wildlife. You can explore Napoleonic forts as you walk along coastal paths and enjoy the fresh sea air.
