You may be surprised to know that Torbay Carnival has been running for over 100 years.
It was originally held on one night – procession night – but over the years we have grown and now we run over nine days of free entertainment for all the family. We do all this to help raise money for local charities and organisations.
2014 Torbay Carnival:
9 Days of fun filled entertainment for all the family!
Friday, 25th July – Fair 11am to 11pm (daily)
Saturday, 26th July – Palm FM Party on the Green followed by FIREWORKS (time to be confirmed)
Wednesday 30th July – Carnival procession….judging of floats at 6pm. Procession leaves Paignton Green 7.45pm, heads towards the Redcliffe Hotel, travels up to Manor Corner then left, back towards Victoria Park, along Hyde Road and down Torbay Road, before returning to the Green.
These roads will be closed from 7.15pm while the procession is on route.
Saturday, 2nd August – Herald Express FIREWORKS 10.10pm
